What should I do if an alarm appears after the CNC machining center is stopped?
The CNC machining center uses the FANUC 18 system. When it is stopped and restarted, an alarm of insufficient preparation sometimes appears.
First of all, the emergency stop and overtravel signals were checked, the system started and the servos were no problem. The ladder diagram was called to check the related signals. It was found that the spindle preparation signal was sometimes not available. It was found that this signal originated from the spindle cooling part. The cooling wiring and electrical components found that the signal line of the spindle “ready” was virtually connected, and the fault was eliminated after reconnection.
