CNC plasma cutting can be roughly divided into the following categories:
1. Then constrain the plasma arc cutting. According to the re-constraining method of plasma arc, it is mainly divided into water re-compressed plasma arc cutting, magnetic field re-constrained plasma arc cutting and so on. As the plasma arc is compressed again, its current density and the energy of the cutting arc are further concentrated, thereby improving the cutting speed and machining quality.
2. Fine plasma arc cutting. The plasma arc current density is very high, which is usually several times that of ordinary plasma arc current density. Because the technology such as rotating magnetic field is introduced, the stability of the arc is also improved, so its cutting accuracy is quite high. The quality of foreign fine plasma cutting surface has reached the lower limit of laser cutting, and its cost is only one third of laser cutting.
3．Ordinary plasma arc cutting. According to the main working gas used, it is mainly divided into argon plasma arc cutting and oxygen plasma arc cutting. There are several types of oxygen plasma arc cutting and air plasma arc cutting. The cutting current is generally below 100 A, and the cutting thickness is less than 30 mm.
