The parts are machined on the CNC turning center, and the processes are relatively centralized. The whole process should be completed as much as possible in one clamping. The common principles of process division are as follows.

1.Guaranteed accuracy principle

CNC turning center machining has the conditions of centralized machining. Rough and fine machining are often completed in one clamping to ensure the accuracy of the cnc machining parts. When the thermal deformation and cutting force deformation have a large impact on the machining accuracy of the part, the rough, Finishing is performed separately.

2.The principle of improving production efficiency

CNC turning center, in order to reduce the number of tool changes and save the time of tool change, after all the machining parts that need to be processed with the same tool are completed, change another tool to process other parts. At the same time, the empty stroke should be reduced as much as possible. When using the same knife to process multiple parts of the workpiece, it should reach the machining parts in a short path.

In actual production, CNC machining is often divided into processes according to tools or machining surfaces.

The CNC turning center is based on the lathe, and further adds the functions of power milling, drilling, boring, and the sub-spindle, so that the turning parts require two times, and the three machining processes are completed in the turning center at one time.
